Secluded Tree House with Lake in Willow, New York
By Nofar from Traveling Outside the Box
I wanted to tell you about the most romantic place for your Valentine’s Day and I’m sure many of you don’t know it at all. Actually, it’s a recommendation for several places. The first is a recommendation for the town of Woodstock in New York State (the name certainly sounds familiar to you, it is the same as Woodstock’s festivals). It is a hippie town, full of small and special hippie shops and artists’ galleries, nestled between mountains and green vegetation (in the summer, if you come in the fall, everything is in fall colors). There are charming cafes and a romantic and quiet atmosphere in general.
Recommended cafes are Garden Cafe, a vegan cafe with surprising dishes, and the Moonrise Bagels bakery which has excellent and special bagels.
But the highlight of the area is a 10-minute drive to a very secluded spot in Willow. At first, you’ll think you’ve arrived in the forest and you won’t understand where you are, but then you’ll discover a treehouse with the coolest design there is.
The cabin is by a small pond and there is also a hot tub outside to complete the romantic atmosphere. The cabin itself is decorated to the highest standard with a small kitchenette, a big window with a view of the pond and the forest, and a comfortable bed. There is no internet or television there so it is actually the perfect place to enjoy a couple’s time without any interruptions. The name of this cabin is Treehouse Willow.
